Before signing up to a class, offer, membership or course please read our Terms & Conditions.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Class availability is on a first come - first served basis, it is advised you use the booking system on this site to ensure availability.
  • Classes are to be paid in advance. There is a 6 hour cancellation policy when cancelling. If you do not show for class you will not be refunded or credited.

Personal Information & Data Protection:

  • Your personal information is stored securely and use of your personal information is administered by Movement & Mind. We will use your personal information to provide you with use of Movement & Mind services and to maintain our records, process memberships and payments and gather feedback. Your information will not be shared with third parties apart from in the prevention of fraud or other crimes, and in the case of medical emergencies.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

  • You can change / cancel any booking up to 12 hours before the start time.
  • Any booking cancelled within the 6 hours or missed class will incur a charge.
  • All class fees are non-refundable.
  • In the event of missed classes due to Covid-19 and or other circumstances beyond our control, your class fee and / or membership will remain in credit but no refund will be given.
  • If a class is cancelled by Movement & Mind, we will contact you to let you know. Your class fee will remain as a credit.
  • There are strictly no refunds for single class fees, class bundles or direct debits.

Time Policy:

  • For your own safety -  if you are more than 5 minutes late for a class it is recommend you speak to the teacher who retains the right to turn you away. This is to help prevent injury as well as to be considerate of the teacher and students.
  • If you turn up late for a class and are not admitted it will be classed as a no show and no refund will be given.

Medical Issues, Injuries & Pregnancies:

  • Movement & Mind Yoga and it's owners, staff, volunteers, accepts no responsibility for any student who does not follow the instructed class or has not disclosed medical conditions or recent injuries to the teacher. Important: It is your responsibility to inform the instructor if you feel unwell or any discomfort.
  • If you find that you are pregnant, please let us know as soon as possible as some of our classes will not be suitable for you. If you choose not to tell us or the teacher about your pregnancy, Movement & Mind Yoga will accept no responsibility for any injuries or issues that may occur as a result of doing a class.
Creating an account with us

By registering with us for online classes or for our booking system, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, by the Privacy Policy and to the Studio Etiquette.

You need to be 18 years or older to register.

Medical questionnaire may be required, it is your sole responsibility to consult a medical practitioner and stop attending classes until you are satisfied that you are in good health and can perform the exercises safely. We cannot take any responsibility for any injury that you may sustain as a result of participating in a class at the studio except where such injury has occurred through our proven negligence. Please inform your teacher about any changes to your medical condition.

One off class payments, class bundles, workshops, unlimited yoga (direct debit) are non-refundable.

5 Class bundle – 3 month expiry
10 class pack – 4 month expiry

Your monthly membership is non transferable to anyone else.

Free classes are for first time students only. Failure to attend a free booking may result in being charged the current price of a single class unless you cancel within the time frame (12 hours or longer)

Yoga mats are provided. All students are responsible for their own belongings. Any belongings that you may leave behind will be kept safely for 6 weeks, after which anything left unclaimed will be given to a charity.

If a student is asked to leave due to violation of the code of conduct, harassment, bullying or any other behaviour that is inappropriate or disruptive to the welfare of the program or to fellow students no refunds will be given.

Class Waiver

The practice of yoga has certain risks and by which it requires physical exertion that may cause physical injury. It is advised to consult with a medical physician prior to joining a yoga class, workshop, or any session. In case that instructors provide physical adjustments, you understand that you have the option to opt-out by letting your instructor know your wish not have physical adjustments. You hereby release, waive, discharge and hold harmless the institution, its directors, officers, staff, volunteers, affiliates, and partners from any and all liabilities arising from any untoward incident in my participation to any class, workshop, and relevant sessions which may result to injury, loss, damage, or death. In the event that any dispute arises out of this agreement, and in the event that the dispute could not be resolved amicably, you agree that the dispute shall be resolved by mediation before a mutually agreed and selected mediator by both parties. In the event that a mediation proceeding fails to resolve the dispute, the matter shall be resolved with an arbitrator.

By taking part in a class, workshop or session at Movement & Mind Yoga, you hereby represent and warrant that you are physically fit and capable to participate for yoga classes, workshop, or activities. You agree and legally bind yourself, with full understanding to the contents and meaning of the provisions above. You declare that I am over 16 years of age and fully capable in giving my consent.
