I’m so appreciative of the delicious and amazing food my wife makes for me. If you take a look at her recipes you’ll understand why!

If the idea of clean, healthy eating doesn’t motivate you, I know how you feel. Sometimes when you focus on eating healthily it seems like a chore. I think it’s because many of us have a tendency to cut out everything we enjoy eating and substitute it for food we perceive to be healthy. Healthy for me is not about exclusion, it’s about eating real food, organic and unprocessed.

If you’re thinking about making some dietary changes for health or well being, avoid focussing on what you can’t eat start to think about what you can eat. This one realisation opened up my eyes when I started a vegan diet at the start of 2014.

However, as this isn’t a post about healthy eating I’ll move on to the best bit… The recipe! It’s one of my favourites. It’s vegan, high in protein and healthy. But, over and above that — it’s bloody delicious and extremely satisfying.

Try it, you’ll forget you’re being healthy, it’ll feel like a treat. Full recipe on my wife’ very popular recipe site.

I appreciate your feedback and look forward to any questions. Please let me know if you try this by commenting below, I’d love to know what you think.

In this era of information overload the intention with my writing is to keep everything short and precise. These articles are not intended to be in-depth guides, they're merely short introductions. If a particular subject takes your fancy you may choose to explore it in more detail elsewhere if you want dive deeper - there is plenty of recommended reading here. I also put on talks and workshops now and then which are more suitable for discussing subjects at greater length.
