About Movement & Mind
I’d like to sum up Movement & Mind as medicine for your body & soul.
I welcome all ages and levels of ability to my Hatha and Traditional Yoga classes. The first thing we concentrate on in a Movement & Mind class is slowing down the breath.
“If you slow down the breath, you slow down the mind”.
Throughout our asana practice we focus on the breath and increase our prana (our energy / life force), we also activate the parasympathetic nervous system bringing about calmness and clarity. We finish the class with a meditation. You should feel the benefits even after your first class.
